Our current abode, in Ashburn Village in Loudoun County, the fastest growing
county in the United States. The highlight of the house is its backyard opening
onto the Washington & Old Dominion Trail.
Driving Directions:
From Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Boston and other places northeast
of Washington, DC:
1. Take I-495 South (Capital Beltway, around Washington, DC, for those
outside of the Metro Washington area) in the direction of Tysons Corner.
2. Take Exit 45A to VA 267 West (Dulles Toll Road) towards Dulles Airport (make
sure you are on the toll lanes and not the airport access lanes). Go 11.9 miles.
3. Take Exit 9B to VA 28 North (Sully Road) towards Sterling. Go 3.3 miles.
4. Take ramp to VA 625 West (Waxpool Road) towards Ashburn/AOL. Go 2.1 miles.
5. Continue straight on Farmwell Road (Waxpool Road turns left - do not turn
left). Go 0.7 miles.
6. Turn right on Ashburn Village Boulevard. Go 1.2 miles.
7. Turn left on Tavern Drive. This is the first left turn that you can take
immediately after crossing the bridge on the W&OD Trail. If you get to the
light on Gloucester Parkway, you have gone too far and need to make a U-turn. Go
0.3 miles.
8. Turn left on Crofton Court (fourth left turn). Our house is the gray colonial
directly in front of you on the cul de sac. You can park in the driveway or
anywhere on the cul de sac.
